Cliveden Conservation was founded in 1982, originally for the preservation of the National Trust’s buildings and statuary.

Our brief was to create a lively showcase for their expertise without alienating the highly conservative audience involved with the preservation of historic buildings.

With offices near Bath, in Norfolk and in the grounds of Cliveden near Maidenhead the company is home to some of the leading specialists for the conservation and restoration of historic buildings and sculpture. From stately homes and royal palaces to churches and domestic settings, their highly skilled and experienced conservators are in demand both in the UK and across the world.

‘We looked at 15 or so specialists in this business and assessed their online offering,’ says Nic Ricketts, Director of 1st Objective. ‘We found that most lacked the excitement we felt when confronted with the work of Cliveden Conservation. From the start we decided to let the jobs speak for itself.’

The site also has a WordPress plug in so that the client can add their own case studies helping keep the content fresh. You can visit 1st Objective’s site for Cliveden Conservation here –
